Dun Aongas

Dun Aon­gas is a stone fort on the island of Inish­more off the West coast of Ire­land. It is more than 4,000 years old, and we know very lit­tle about the peo­ple who built it (although it’s a pretty safe bet that they had ene­mies). It is one of the most amaz­ing places I’ve ever been. I’ll post some other pho­tos of the place later.
