Karin Jurick

Has some great stuff over at her Paint­ing a Day Blog. I’ve seen a num­ber of painting/drawing/sketch/conceptual instal­la­tion a day kinds of web sites. Some of them are great, but often they are the same smeary mess one day after another. For paint­ings done so quickly, her work is con­sis­tently good. Great color (strong, chro­matic, but not over­whelm­ing), good com­po­si­tion, good tech­nique. I can’t work any­where near that fast. Check it out.
