Eiffel flashing

This is the Eif­fel Tower, seen at night from the first of three stages in the jour­ney to the top. Every fif­teen min­utes (I think) there is a small light show across tower, and I man­aged to catch this shot with the lights going.

This photo had a lot of dig­i­tal noise. To cor­rect this in Pho­to­shop, I copied the image to a new layer, set the blend­ing mode to Color, and applied a gauss­ian blur. This removed the noise with­out remov­ing detail.
