2006

was quite a year for me. My son Brendan was born in August, which is beyond amazing. He’s doing great.

Lesser events included what I think is a leap forward in the quality of my drawing and painting, as well as starting this weblog. I am also changing my (non art-related) job. The new job will be 32 hours per week instead of 40 (although with one overnight trip to Portland Maine each week). I hope to devote the extra day to painting, with the goal of producing a body of work that I can begin to sell. So I guess I am about to be one-fifth of a struggling professional artist.

Peace, prosperity, and best wishes to all of you and your families.

Happy new year!
