This site is currently on hiatus. Please feel free to look around at posts. I’ll also tend to respond to comments or emails. I’ll be back when I have more time. Until then, keep smearing colored mud on flat surfaces.
Update 28 December 2010: Back to posting. Thanks for your patience.
David, I’ve appriciated your work and your comments since first seeing you on Cennini. Where I thought you got a bad rap. I have followed this blog since shortly after you started it. I have wondered time to time ( during this hiatus) how your doing and thought I’d send an email just to say hello and hope your OK. I have found your posts well written adn often I have agreed with you and sometimes I have been spurred to think of something differently.
Thanks,
Steve Baker
Steve,
Thanks for the kind words. Right now, what with work, online graduate courses, and family, I just don’t have time for this blog. I do intend to come back when there’s a little more balance in my life.
Best wishes,
David
David,
I’ve enjoyed your sight for some time now and I appreciate every insight that you post. I am also a graduate student: it’s a lot of work with a family to be concerned about. If I may ask: Are you studying something art related? I am in a Masters of Education program, but sometime in the future I would like to get my MFA. It’s just a dream right now, but someday… Anyway, best of luck and I’m sure that I’ll bump into you occasionally on AMIEN’s forum.
Hang in there,
Chad
Chad,
Actually, I’m working on meeting requirements for board certification in applied behavior analysis.
Back more actively in art blogging when that’s done.
