Doak's colors are a lot more creamy and sometimes slightly oily. He's a very interesting guy to talk to.

Jeff,

This is most of the oil paint colors I own. My usual palette is just a few earths, with a couple of other higher-chroma paints added as needed for the subject.

I like Williamsburg paints a lot, especially their earths (although I wish the paints were a little less stiff).

Doak's colors are a lot more creamy and sometimes slightly oily. He's a very interesting guy to talk to.

I like the swatches, is this a good sample of your palette? I notice you use a lot of Williamsburg paint.
I do as well I have not used Doak’s paint yet but I will when I have to buy some more.
